Interconnected, cooperative, and autonomous mobility

This group’s task is to utilise the potentials of interconnected, cooperative, and autonomous driving for public transportation. Due to a lack of resources in public transport, this potential is considered to be enormous.
Thus, different studies and projects research and develop traffic optimisation, intelligent traffic systems, and the required infrastructure.
Another important aspect are joint projects regarding automatised / autonomous driving, where infrastructure and technical requirements are put into focus. These requirements are crucial to any control centre when it comes to public transport.
