RIM 7: Autonomous Cargo Bike
In cooperation with AuRaSys, whose cargo bike will be used in the Science Port, the autonomous vehicle will be joining the shuttles and the route train in their integration into the digital ecosystem. The teleoperated cargo bike allows an efficient delivery on the last mile while also reducing personnel cost, emissions and noise in the quarter. Furthermore, the bike collects data that is transferred back to the digital twin.
Main Goals:
- Examining possible solutions for teleoperating vehicles and preparing them to be deployed in public spaces
- Developing completely autonomous mikromobiles that are suitable for urban traffic
