NIIMO is oriented towards the objective of the regional innovation strategy of Saxony-Anhalt regarding the lead markets of mobility and logistics: “Holistic, intelligent, and sustainable solutions for mobility and logistics – Saxony-Anhalt becomes a system supplier for green mobility.” NIIMO’s mission is to utilize opportunities from research-driven technological innovations and digital mobility system solutions within the association to reinvent both the city and its urban fringe as a communal mobility and living space.

- Alternative operators for public transport
- Electrically powered, automated (autonomous) vehicles and Operations Control Center
Data Analysis
- Big Data, data integrity and cyber security
- Development and optimization of algorithms and settings / Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)
Data utilization and optimization
- Artificial intelligence, assistance systems, informatics-solutions, and human-machine-interaction
- Signal and voice processing as well as the recognition of emotions and intentions
- Processing and fusion of sensor data
We offer the supervision of theses covering the aforementioned topics to open up the opportunity for both an academic and a practical approach to these subjects.
